The Santana Family
Welcome to our site… Here you will find the most up to date information about us as a family, our prayer needs and mission work updates. In partnership with Church Mission Society (CMS) we want to serve the marginalised in Goiânia-Brazil, particularly those living on the streets affected by addiction. If you would like to give towards our ministry or sign up to receive our Link Letters click here.
We are Levi and Debora Santana and, along with our two young children, we moved to Goiania – Brazil in 2017. Our call is to come alongside the most marginalised and needy in society, meeting human needs and sharing the gospel of Jesus.
We run monthly a drop-in centre that offers a variety of services to people living on the street of the city. We offer haircuts, medical help, food, clothes and shoes, as well as hygiene kits. All this is part of our hopes to confer dignity to those who can be either ostracised or neglected.
Since arriving we have set up a NGO, “Igreja Sem Paredes”, which means “church without walls” and are currently exploring what God is calling us to do next to grow and expand our work with those at the margins.

It was the beginning of summer and sunny, which inContinue reading “Home”
- The Darkest DarknessHow does a missionary (person) get back to the centre? How and why do we sometimes lose sight of God, even when we are meant to be the people closest to him? How can we get so far away from him, that we lose sight of ourselves, our purpose and the first love which compelledContinue reading “Home”
- The Stretcher CommunityWe always have very interesting encounters with people. I remember one particular morning, when we did our coffee walk, we met a number of people under some palm trees. Some were still asleep (we never wake them), but around 15 people were awake and happy to see us with hot coffee. After some time chattingContinue reading “Home”
